TAG Heuer Double Treat at Trinoma

The brand unveils its latest boutique and their newest Friends

All roads led to Trinoma Mall in Quezon City on October 25, 2018, as the Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer opened their newly renovated boutique to the public. TAG Heuer has always been a popular brand in this country and with good reason. The watches are classic and at the same time modern. The Brand knows how to build a watch that people will want. (I should know, I have more than one TAG Heuer in my watch box.)

And they know how to throw a party, too. Guests were treated to a wonderful afternoon in the new boutique, with food and drinks to keep them energized as they wandered through the boutique, oohing and aahing over the watches on display. The boutique itself features the new global concept for the iconic luxury brand. TAG Heuer aims to expand the brand’s influence with the younger generation.

And there is no better way to do this than with a group of professional athletes, six gentlemen from the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).  Athletes who push themselves hard to achieve excellence in basketball, and then push themselves even harder. For them, #DontCrackUnderPressure isn’t just a cool hashtag, it could be their personal mantra.

TAG Heuer has been the Official Timekeeper of the PBA for three years running. They have taken this partnership to the next step. These gentlemen did more than just attend the boutique unveiling: they were introduced as the official TAG Heuer Friends of the Brand. June Mar Fajardo from San Miguel Beermen, Scottie Thompson from Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, Chris Newsome from Meralco, Jio Jalalon from Magnolia, Asi Taulava from NLEX, and Sean Anthony from Northport are all achievers in their own right, and seeing them together was like a witnessing a possible best-of-the-best team. If only leagues allowed a six-man team, these would men would be the team to watch.

Aside from cementing the TAG Heuer-PBA collaboration, having these gentlemen be the Friends of the Brand is a step in the right direction in terms of the next generation. When the next generation of athletes and fans walk past the TAG Heuer Boutique in Trinoma Mall, they’ll gaze upon the photo of these six men and know that someday, if they work hard and #DontCrackUnderPressure, they could become Friends of the Brand too.
